NIPPORI
Nippori, a very Meji period area in Tokyo
Traditional fabrics, old temples and theme park from the 1950s.
In Nippori, as in the nearby Ueno area, there is an atmosphere of yesteryear and the area has a more popular spirit than the other districts of Tokyo with ultramodern skyscrapers and metropolitan stimuli.
Those who love tailoring will fall in love with the Nippori Textile District, the kilometer-long street full of sewing shops and traditional fabrics and fabrics at a good price, both retail and wholesale. Nearby there is also the Arakawa Yuen, an amusement park for children, a zoo with pets and a water park all year round. For those who love the temples, instead, the Tennoji and, next to the Nippori resort, the Yanaka zone.
